It’s crazy to believe baby boy is almost here – this pregnancy has flown by. This blog post is for my pregnant and expectant mamas. Finding outfits that you feel comfortable in while also confident and cute is so important during your pregnancy! I’ve had a lot of wins on Amazon Fashion. In this blogpost, I’m sharing my favorite amazon outfits during the summer months that are comfy and bump-friendly!

What these amazon outfits have in common

The one thing that all of these amazon outfits have in common is that they aren’t maternity. 🤗 There’s nothing wrong with maternity! I knew when I first got pregnant that I didn’t want to stress out about clothing.

Finding items that I’ll be able to wear postpartum was important to me. I was on the hunt for items that would fit me for my current life stage (i.e. pregnancy) and afterward!

Lastly, all of these items are very affordable and of great quality from Amazon. I truthfully feel that in the last year Amazon Fashion has really ramped up their game, and I’m happy about it! Say goodbye to the days where I had to spend a large amount of money to get a quality clothing item.

Amazon women’s outfits that are bump friendly

If you’re reading this post and not pregnant – great! All of these outfits are still applicable to you. If you are pregnant, I’d suggest sizing up if you are in the second trimester onward. I’ll be sure to denote this in each section below.

“Bump friendly” simply means that each of these outfits can accommodate a growing bump – they either have no waistband or one that is stretchy and won’t be painful!

Amazon actually has a filter in their clothing category that is specifically for “bump friendly”. I highly recommend checking this out if you are trying to avoid buying maternity items for these more casual-type outfits.

Amazon Outfits #1: Dress

If you read my outfit inpso post for maternity photos, you’ve already seen this dress. I called it “The Amazon Dress”.

If you’re not a fan of form-fitted dresses, this may not be your cup of tea. However – during pregnancy, especially those “weird” stages where people can’t tell you are pregnant, form-fitting is a great option to make your new body stand out!

The biggest thing for me and dresses was finding one that I felt comfortable in – this material is very stretchy so it’s carried me from first trimester all the way to the third.

If you check the reviews, you’ll see plenty of non-pregnant women wearing this style and it looks great!

Amazon Outfits #2: Short Sleeve Set

I credit one of my older sisters for this suggestion 🤗 When I hit the third trimester, clothes really started getting uncomfortable. But, I was also tired of wearing sweatpants or dresses. I wanted something a little different that could be dressed up if need be.

This short sleeve set is darling – I usually pair it with white socks and sneakers but have also paired with my tried-and-true Sam Edelmen sandals.

I chose to get this set in the Lavendar color because it’s one of my “best” colors according to my Light Summer palette. My sister has the royal blue color and that one is also gorg.

If you are pregnant during the summer months, this is a great option to have on hand!

While I haven’t worn this not being pregnant yet, I plan to do so and think it will be a great addition in my rotation of matching sets.

Amazon Outfits #3: Sweater Set

Speaking of matching sets – I ordered this waffle-knit sweater set as my “coming home” outfit from the hospital.

Being due in October in North Carolina, you really have no idea what the weather could be like. It very well could be 85 and humid, or it could be 55 (which is cold to this NC gal). With that in mind, I went forward with this sweater set moreso just to have something comfy!

From research, I’ve heard that you definitely don’t want something tight and confined after your birthing experience. I chose to size up on this sweater set and seriously ever since I got it – I can’t take it off!

Again, this set can be dressed up or down as I’ve worn it with sneakers and also dressier sandals.

I would say this set fits true to size, but if you’re like me – in the third trimester and almost postpartum, I would consider sizing up.

Conclusion

I truly believe 2024 was the year Amazon Fashion really chose to ramp up their game! While there are some items I’ve ordered that have been a “miss” – all of these in this post have been a big win.

Whether you are pregnant or not – these options are suitable for either! As I’ve gotten older, I’ve loved the “comfy but cute” movement, especially as a work from home entrepreneur.

Let me know if you have any of these items or if you have new suggestions for me to try!
