Last month our website designer Madison completed this Squarespace website design for Dietitian Gianna. Gianna is a GLP-1 dietitian who helps individuals to not be afraid of weight loss medications. We rebranded Gianna last year and were so excited to implement our assets into a brand new Squarespace website for Gianna’s online practice.

Branding for Dietitian Gianna’s Squarespace Website Design

Squarespace Website Design for Gianna

At the front of every Squarespace website design is a beautifully crafted brand. I like to help you visualize the importance of branding by imagining you were walking alongside a street looking at different shops.

The storefront – the door / the windows / the canopy / the decorations – are your brand. They are essentially what “gets you inside”.

Think about that store that looks scary to go into (i.e. Spencer’s in the mall for me LOL), their brand “scares” you into not coming inside.

Once you are inside, there are many things that sell you into buying items – sales, clearance racks, BOGO – this is your website.

With that visualization in mind, we were able to complete Gianna’s brand in 2023 which was fun, vibrant and screams “she is GREAT energy”. Now, in 2024, we wanted to bring that vision to life onto her new Squarespace website.

Elements of a Powerful Squarespace Website Design for GLP-1 Dietitian

Now, a powerful squarespace website design includes many different aspects. We’ll talk more about Gianna’s project objectives in a bit, but for now, what exactly constitutes a powerful website?

If you were to ask our professional design team this question, we’d say:

  • SEO & Copywriting that works on Google for your ideal client
  • A fully-immersed branding
  • A user journey that makes it easy to contact you

In simple terms, this is really what every website should have in common. Especially when you work with a professional!

Project Objectives for Dietitian Gianna

Throughout the rest of this blogpost, we’re going to walk you through the project objectives specifically for Dietitian Gianna’s website redesign. Before we dive into the details, we completed this squarespace website design as part of our VIP Website Full offering. If you want to learn more, head over to our Services page for more details. In short, this entire website was designed, developed and launched in one business day!

Now, let’s get into the nitty gritty. After speaking with Gianna on what specific goals she was hoping to achieve with a website redesign, she summed it up into three main objectives:

  • Create an organized user experience that feels clear with where they should go to find more information
  • Highlight her podcast that’s experiencing a lot of growth
  • Make the website fun – no more boring templates!

1. CREATE AN ORGANIZED USER EXPERIENCE

To create an organized user experience for this website, we first reviewed her main goals of where she wanted users to visit first. After discussion, it was to her services page so that they could learn more about what she does.

To do this, we crafted a specific storytelling journey via our copywriting guide & template. By using our template, Gianna was able to visualize what her website was going to “say” from top to bottom. Thus, she clearly defined where to send people via her writing!

In 2025, we are already seeing websites going back into simplified form. That said – Gianna’s main navigation is very simple and not cluttered!

2. HIGHLIGHT HER GROWING PODCAST

Finding something that differentiates you as a clinician is key. As an exclusive design agency for clinicians, we’ve seen it all: gut health focus, women’s health, hormones, etc. This isn’t to say these are bad niches – they are just easily replicable. Not all dietitians have podcasts, so this is a very great differentiation point for Gianna to market.

With that in mind, we put it right in her main navigation and made an entire page dedicated to marketing this podcast.

Without a page on her website, she was already gaining traction by social media. Now that her podcast has a dedicated page, she can be discovered via an SEO strategy with new eyes to listen to the show!

For many other dietitians who don’t have a podcast, we’ve created other avenues to differentiate yourself:

3. MAKE THE WEBSITE FUN VIA BRANDING

This might be our favorite part of the process with website designing! It’s also the reason why we almost always require a professional brand to be solidified before we dive into website development. If you aren’t sure if your brand is strong enough for a website, DM us on Instagram!

Branding Gianna’s practice in late 2023 was such a joy. Our favorite parts are the patterns of colorful fruits that we knew would be amazing to use on the website.

Oftentimes clinicians overthink their websites: is it too sterile? Does it evoke professionalism? Can I appear personal, too? While all of these are valid questions to ask, it is actually possible to appear both professional and personal.

While Gianna’s brand evokes a very youthful and fun personality, through her copywriting on her website explaining her journey and how she can help others, she showcases professionalism. It’s also very evident that she’s a professional with how much she’s invested into her practice with branding and/or website design. This is another reason to invest in yourself!

Your Squarespace Website Design for Dietitians Doesn’t Need to Feel Stuffy!

Dietitian Gianna’s squarespace website design is evidence that just because you are a clinician in private practice doesn’t mean your website should feel stuffy.

I’ll admit – when I first ventured in the world of getting to know private practice owners, I always thought of the white coat 🤪 And honestly, how smart they were in comparison to me (still true in a way!).

But, I also found out (and met) many wonderful clinicians who are very personable, funny and kind outside of professional. If you find yourself in this boat, use this website as inspiration for your project. Then, apply to work with our team. We are always looking for more dietitians to work with on growing your private practice!
