We approach every project at Chloe Creative uniquely and differently. Jocelyn came as a referral from one of our branding clients, Dietitian Gianna. Jocelyn hadn’t ever had a professional branding or website ever done before. These types of clients are the best!

This brand for wellness coach Jocelyn is different; we took an intake questionnaire and used it to design an icon and assets she can use throughout her online practice.

Jocelyn booked us for a branding, copywriting and WordPress website. This took about 6 weeks from project start to finish.

With that in mind (and not closing the door to male clients), we crafted her brand with the ability to attract both audiences. Let’s dive in!

Crafting Brand Guidelines for Wellness Company, Cordillera Wellness Collective

In order to dive into the strategy and visuals of Cordillera Wellness Collective, we had to understand what her business name actually stood for.

You may be a dietitian whose practice name is just your name with “dietitian”, or maybe you have a very meaningful business name. Either way – we want this uncovered in our intake questionnaire!

We found out that “Cordillera” actually means a chain of mountains. Jocelyn chose this as her wellness business name because she grew up on the east coach next to the Appalachian Mountains. In her intake form, she also made the connection that the chain of mountains can also relate to the peptide chain, hormone compounds and DNA chains. How cool?!

If you find yourself reading this and thinking “Man, I don’t have something that deep and meaningful!” that’s totally okay. Not everyone has a strategic-backed name.

However, with this in mind, we could really creatively work with this strategy to play into the mountain and DNA visually. This became her main icon piece that tied everything together.

In addition to explaining her naming strategy, she also gave us a few adjectives that described her style:

  • Classic
  • Modern
  • Energetic
  • Mature

Each of these words were great to compare to her Pinterest Board visualization below.

After reviewing both of these items, we developed out her entire visual branding that we are still swooning over. I also got very coastal vibes from this brand and loved it!

Marketing materials for wellness coach

As I mentioned above, Jocelyn added on a few marketing materials to better depict her brand for wellness individuals.

Many people feel that business cards are “outdated” but we actually find that many of our clinician clients love adding this on in particular. Why? You’re likely doing a lot of presentations or speaking events at local universities or other places of work. Business cards will totally come in handy to hand out at those events.

As a brand for wellness individuals that usually are in the online space, the addition of an email signature seemed fitting. If you don’t have an email signature, what are you doing?!

Copywriting & messaging for Jocelyn Vink

Once her marketing materials were all wrapped up, Diana hopped in to take over the copywriting, messaging and SEO positioning for Jocelyn.

While this is our most expensive package, in 2024, it’s been our most booked. I can only take this upon myself to conclude, but I think this is because in 2024 individuals are focused on organic growth now more than ever!

If you are a clinician wanting to really grasp a hold of Google and it’s organic search capabilities, you have to start [in this order]:

  • Ensuring your branding is psychologically targeting your audience and setup for expansion and growth.
  • Invest in copywriting!!!!! Emphasis on this one because without SEO-infused copywriting, it will take your website a lot longer to begin ranking.
  • A website that’s easy to navigate and meets Google’s Accesibility Standards

Jocelyn obviously did a great move with her online business and hired us to rehaul and write all of her website copywriting. When doing so, we evaluate her ideal client persona(s), what they need, how they speak and write in a way that makes them want to listen to you.

At the same time, there will be hidden keywords throughout to ensure Google does it’s job in tagging your website for the right keywords.

WordPress Website Design

To have an overall better website, we love when clients come to us with copywriting and amazing brand photography. Jocelyn had both 🤗

Her business did not have a website prior to working with us, so we suggested she get on BigScoots for hosting and WordPress for website platform. BigScoots’ website support is truly unmatched and if you want a speedy website, this is your best friend.

Throughout her website, we decided to include a lot of texture-based sections to bring in a little more vibrancy with the mostly-muted color palette. This brand for wellness was subtle, but captivating!

Secondly, we wanted to position her specialities throughout the website. You’ll find us chatting it up about her frustrations with the healthcare system and how she’s “been there, done that”. This sets her up as an approachable individual that makes you want to work with her!

We also developed two keyword-focused pages for perimenopause and menopause. These pages can only be found from the “What I Treat” page and are there strictly from an SEO strategy stance. The great news is that if you find her via Google for “perimenopause support”, you’ll be directed straight to this page that chats all about how Jocelyn can help you.

Conclusion

In under 20 days of launch, Jocelyn received 4 inquiries just from her website alone. How AMAZING is that?!
