Any other October mamas out there? 🎃

At almost 36 weeks, it’s officially game time to begin prepping for baby: car seat bases to be installed, hospital bags packed, and of course, all the raspberry leaf tea and dates 🤪

Being a first time mom, I’m obviously anxious but excited for this next season of life. I want to hear from you — what words of encouragement do you have to help me get through these last few weeks before baby arrives?

This Labor Day was MUCH needed — who else agrees

This Labor Day was MUCH needed — who else agrees?

I didn’t even *think* about work and that’s a huge step in a healthy direction with my relationship being a workaholic 🫣🤪

What I did do, was listen to my body at 34 weeks pregnant. For the past 2 weeks, I’m noticing an extra need for resting time or naps in between tasks that used to feel so simple — and that’s okay! So, here’s what I did:

➡️ [not pictured] 6:45 wake up, water, baked cinnamon rolls, read my Bible & journaled, read some of my romcom current read

➡️ @thesculptsociety 15 minute arms & legs with a 7 minute stretch — I’ve been a TSS member since I found out I was pregnant and have kept up with it since!

➡️ shower, apply @primallypure body butter on the belly and @supergoop SPF for the face

➡️ @kodiakcakes PB protein ball for snack, dusted the house & finished writing our baby shower thank you cards

➡️ [not pictured] pizza for lunch, quick marshals run

➡️ read more of my romcom while Luke watched TV, rested in bed

➡️ watched Vanderpump while having a crockpot meal for supper

➡️ baked cookies, football & bedtime 💤

Thank you, Jesus, for the ability to have these slow days to teach my body to rest and rejuvenate in order to do Your work everyday 🤎
