The Balanced Nutritionist, Full Dietitian Branding and Showit Website

Since I had a #sickweek this week – it’s Friday and I’m finally feeling “okay” enough to be on my laptop – SO, that means I can catch up on portfolio work that you all love to read! With this dietitian branding, we absolutely loved how these neutral colors came together to feel bright, airy and fun!

We recently partnered with Jamie over at The Balanced Nutritionist and did a MAJOR rebrand and website makeover for her. Don’t forget to take a peek at The IBS & SIBO Dietitian project, which just so happens to be a friend of Jamie’s!

How did this dietitian branding begin?

Lets backup and talk about how Jamie and I began working together; sometime last year, Jamie reached out in regards to *only* needing a logo redone for her membership The Balanced Life. We finalized her main logo design and sent it off to her a few days after!

She then reached back out for this time to go big and revamp EVERYTHING – including the name of her membership and website.

We rebranded Jamie from Jamie Nadeau Nutrition fully over on The Balanced Nutritionist. This felt more aligned to separate her personal name from her business – plus, she has grown so much over on her Instagram and TikTok as @thebalancednutritionist anyway! As we made this brand name change, she also changed the name of her membership to Balanced Breakthrough which we both were OBSESSED with!

Ideal Audience for The Balanced Nutritionist

As we got into her brand discovery, we learned that Jamie targets females 25-40 years of age who live in the United States and are most likely middle-class. They are struggling with dieting and are stuck in the cycle of the “all or nothing” approach. They like to scroll social media, going out to eat and spending time with family and friends!

With all of that in mind, we HAD to have pink in her color palette, as Jamie and her audience strongly resonated with this color. We added a yellow (which was a nice surprise for her) and a mint green that feels young, fresh but also mature when adding the black into it!

Project Type:

  • Custom branding
  • Showit website design

Her old website was fully hosted on WordPress and Jamie felt a lack of “aesthetically pleasing” website design and ease of editing. Because of this, we decided to keep her entire blog on WordPress but move the other parts of her website onto Showit, a platform that I find is a happy medium for all dietitians!

We even decided to build out her Kajabi sales page onto her main Showit website because of the frustrations she felt when trying to design a sales page that matched the vibe and aesthetic she was wanting!

This website has us SWOONING after over a month of launching. It is filled with so much color and fun-ness of food freedom that all of Jamie’s members in Balanced Breakthrough want!
